Volleyball Recap: Richard Winn Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Richard Winn Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Cambridge Academy Cougars on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Richard Winn Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-18.

Cambridge Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richard Winn Academy will welcome King Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cambridge Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wardlaw Academy at 5:00 p.m.
