Baseball Game Preview: London Red Raiders vs. Unioto Shermans

The London Red Raiders will square off against the Unioto Shermans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. London is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

London is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Highland.

Meanwhile, Unioto had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 4-1.

KB Perkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jaxon Zickafoose was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

London's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Unioto, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.
