Preview: Hackett Hornets vs. Bismarck Lions
The Hackett Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Bismarck Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Hackett, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 32-13 loss to Mansfield.
Although Hackett took the loss, they still got scores from Eli Slavens and Jeremy Lawyer.
Meanwhile, Bismarck waltzed into Friday's game with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over Centerpoint. Considering Bismarck has won eight matches by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mansfield's victory bumped their season record to 8-2 while Hackett's defeat dropped theirs to 6-4.
Hackett came up short against Bismarck in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, falling 18-8. Can Hackett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
