Braley Richardson Game Report: @ Woodruff

While Mountain View Prep might've come up empty on Tuesday, Braley Richardson wasn't going down without a fight. Richardson made a splash, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She was dominant the last time she took on Woodruff back in March, so they probably should've seen this coming. Richardson has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Richardson and Mountain View Prep will head out on the road to challenge Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Richardson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Stars' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Richardson and the Stars surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
