Carolina Christian suffers sixth straight loss at home

Recap: Carolina Christian Lions vs. Providence Classical

The Carolina Christian Lions suffered their biggest loss since November 27, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 76-47 loss at the hands of Providence Classical. Carolina Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Providence Classical had a senior duo take command as Xan Rahalawicz dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 11 assists, and ten steals and Isaac Martin dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rahalawicz has scored at least a third of Providence Classical's points. Another player making a difference was Collin Davis, who scored ten points.

Carolina Christian bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Providence Classical, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fletcher the next time they take the court. Providence Classical will host Fletcher at 7:55 p.m. on Monday, while Carolina Christian will host them at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
