Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crawfordsville, Sheridan was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Clinton Central Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 22-25, 25-14.

Lainey Mendenhall paced Sheridan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Mendenhall got some help from Adria Jump and her 19 assists. Meredith Krupp controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win got Sheridan back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Sheridan will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Park Tudor at 7:00 p.m. As for Clinton Central, they will head out on the road to take on Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
