Waterloo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Midlakes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Waterloo Tigers will challenge the Midlakes Screaming Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Midlakes took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Waterloo, who comes in off a win.

Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 394th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, Midlakes was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against Palmyra-Macedon, falling 48-20. The Screaming Eagles haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Waterloo pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Midlakes, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Waterloo's way against Midlakes in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Waterloo made off with a 74-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Waterloo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
