Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Solon

North hasn't had much luck against Solon recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rangers will head out to take on the Comets at 7:00 p.m.

North took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Berea-Midpark. Brayden Bair had the honor of scoring the game-winner for North.

Meanwhile, Solon has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 20. Neither they nor Wadsworth could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The win was some much needed relief for Solon as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Solon's draw makes their record 10-5-1 this season. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8-2.

North couldn't quite get it done against Solon when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
