John Paul II had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 53-29 margin over the Ursuline Academy Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-53 on January 13th.

Ursuline Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Annabelle Tobin, who posted 12 points. Vivie Land was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

John Paul II pushed their record up to 15-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Ursuline Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-15.

Coincidentally, John Paul II and Ursuline Academy will both be playing Prestonwood Christian the next time they take the court. John Paul II will host Prestonwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Ursuline Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
