Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stuart W. Cramer was the 74-58 winner over North Gaston when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday.

Despite the loss, Stuart W. Cramer still got an impressive performance from Makhi Brown, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Landon Lee was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Gaston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Howard, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Carter Mason, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Stuart W. Cramer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Gaston, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Stuart W. Cramer will take on West Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for North Gaston, they will square off against East Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
