Maury hadn't done well against Nansemond River recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Commodores were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Warriors. The contest marked the Commodores' most dominant win of the season so far.

Casey Deshazo tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
