Volleyball Recap: Conifer Wins Going Away Against Doral Academy Red Rock

After losing to Doral Academy Red Rock the last time they met, Conifer decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lobos put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Sage Bishop paced Conifer's offense, picking up 19 kills. Bishop got some help from Hayden Buscher and her 31 assists. Bishop also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reese Bailey, each putting up two.

Conifer's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Conifer will host Standley Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they are taking a road trip to face off against Green Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
