Basketball Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Plainfield North Tigers

The Naperville North Huskies just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Plainfield North Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Naperville North came up short against Metea Valley and fell 61-48. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Plainfield North had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They skirted past the Indians 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since February 21, 2024.

Plainfield North's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Naperville North, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Naperville North came up short against Plainfield North when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 74-70. Can Naperville North avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
