After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Steele, Judson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the San Marcos Rattlers 55-3 on the road. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rockets considering their three-point performance the match before.

Judson found their leader in underclassman Kayden Graham, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Graham's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jack Call also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Judson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Judson's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for San Marcos, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Judson will welcome Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Canyon's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for San Marcos, they are taking a road trip to challenge Steele at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Steele will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something San Marcos surely won't give up without a fight.
