Columbia proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 62) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Salem Wildcats 7-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Wildcats are ranked 313th).
