Basketball Recap: Trinity Greenlawn Comes Up Short

Trinity Greenlawn lost against Jimtown back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trinity Greenlawn Titans lost 41-20 to the Jimtown Jimmies. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jimtown was led to victory by Lily Gaugler and Kiera Jackson. Gaugler went 6 for 15 en route to 20 points and five rebounds, while Jackson posted 13 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gaugler has scored at least a third of Jimtown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Williams, who earned four points and 11 boards.

Trinity Greenlawn's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Jimtown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-19.

Trinity Greenlawn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-31 defeat against Bethany Christian on the 31st. As for Jimtown, they will take on Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bremen will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Jimtown surely won't give up without a fight.
