If Skyview wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Standley Lake, they should've done a better job of containing Maryn Paulson. The Gators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolverines on Monday with plenty of help from Paulson, who had 16 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

One reason for the win was Standley Lake's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

The victory got Standley Lake back to even at 1-1. As for Skyview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Standley Lake will challenge Frederick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Skyview, they will face off against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
