Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt an 80-48 loss at the hands of the James Kenan Tigers. The Dark Horses were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Clinton's record now sits at 0-6. As for James Kenan, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Clinton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Lenoir at 4:00 p.m. on December 26th. As for James Kenan, they will take on Eastern Wayne in a tournament on Friday. James Kenan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Eastern Wayne likes a good challenge.
