After a string of five wins, Concord's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 6-4 to the Brandywine Bulldogs. Concord were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brandywine apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Concord's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Brandywine, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Concord will challenge Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brandywine, they will head out on the road to challenge First State Military Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
