Basketball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Comes Up Short

Wilton-Lyndeborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Mascenic Regional Vikings, falling 69-37. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-27 back in January.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Mascenic Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Wilton-Lyndeborough wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-52 loss against Portsmouth Christian Academy on the 5th. As for Mascenic Regional, they will take on Sunapee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sunapee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
