League recap: Dakin's hot bat leads White Cloud

Brewer Dakin was on fire this week, as he led Central State with a .483 average, two home runs and 14 RBIs. Meanwhile, White Cloud put together a 3-2 week.

The Indians' Caleb Bowman was the best pitcher in the league this week. He picked up one win and 13 strikeouts.

White Cloud's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 82 hits and 41 walks, both of which led the league. The Indians' pitchers have been charged with only 187 hits and have struck out 114 batters. Bowman is tops on the staff with 35 Ks.

White Cloud's 87 hits this week were the most in the league, adding to its season total of 185, best of any team. The Indians are led by Evan Fifer, who has 31 hits this year.

White Cloud's Caleb Wilk led the league in strikeouts this week with 15. He's second in the league with 30 total strikeouts.



Fifer led the league with 15 hits this week for the Indians. His 31 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .443 batting average.

Evan Fifer threw a shutout as he led White Cloud to victory over Hart, 12-4, on Thursday. He struck out 14, allowing six hits.
