            Volleyball Recap: Venice Indians vs. Gulliver Prep Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Venice was the  2-0 winner over Gulliver Prep when they last played one another  back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell  2-0 to the Raiders on Friday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-13,  25-18.
 Tien Murray paced Venice's offense, picking up six kills. Murray got some help from  Amelia Anselmi and her 11 assists. Finally,  Charlotte Cleary kept Venice's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Venice's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Gulliver Prep, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
 Venice wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  2-1  defeat against Ponte Vedra on the 20th. As for Gulliver Prep, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  2-0  victory against Trinity Catholic on the 20th.
