 The East Union Lancers will face off against the Wheatland Pirates at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Union comes in on nine and Wheatland on three.
Last Tuesday, East Union made easy work of Manteca  and carried off  a  27-6 win. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 20  points or more this season.
 East Union's defense made their presence known, laying out  Lily Dundas three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Makayla Burlingame.
Meanwhile, Wheatland got the win against Center  on Wednesday by a conclusive  46-20. Given the Pirates' advantage  in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Cougars are ranked 759th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Wheatland's win came from a few key players East Union will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Ashtynne Agarenzo, who threw for 287 yards and seven  touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 55 yards on only six carries. Thanks to that big game,  she is now up to 43  passing touchdowns on the season.  Jordan Hill was  Agarenzo's top target, picking up 119 receiving yards and four  TDs.
 East Union's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Wheatland, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
