Soccer Game Preview: Hilliard Darby vs. Thomas Worthington

The Hilliard Darby Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hilliard Darby is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Monday. They lost 4-1 to Big Walnut.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Thomas Worthington was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Worthington Kilbourne finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Hilliard Darby's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-3. Thomas Worthington's draw gives them a new season record of 3-8-2.

Hilliard Darby came out on top in a nail-biter against Thomas Worthington in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
