Basketball Recap: Wright City Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wright City has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 76-72 heartbreaker at the hands of the Valliant Bulldogs. The Lumberjax were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 68-57.

Despite the loss, Wright City still got an impressive performance from Kase Lindly, who went 9 of 18 en route to 26 points and six rebounds. Lindly is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Maddox Replogle was another key player, going 6 for 13 on his way to 15 points.

Wright City's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3. As for Valliant, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Wright City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-39 win against Rock Creek on the 31st. As for Valliant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-39 victory against Tishomingo on the 28th.
