East Rowan had won six straight home games and Jordan Dry did her part to make it seven on Monday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the Concord Spiders as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Dry, who had 14 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

East Rowan never let Concord on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Concord still got an impressive performance from Riley Porter, who had 14 digs and three assists. Mckinley Williams also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

East Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Concord, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

East Rowan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against South Rowan on the 14th. Concord does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
