Flag Football Recap: Mullen Find Success

Mullen proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 22) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Arapahoe Warriors 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since September 21, 2024.

The critical scores for Mullen came from Steffi Thomas and Claire Hellmuth.

The win got Mullen back to even at 5-5. As for Arapahoe, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mullen wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 40-0 victory against Smoky Hill on the 27th. As for Arapahoe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 loss against Ralston Valley on the 22nd.
