Soccer Recap: Northeast Lauderdale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Choctaw Central last Monday, Northeast Lauderdale came back down to earth. The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans fell just short of the New Hope Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Northeast Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for New Hope, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Lauderdale will take on Leake County in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Hope and Corinth will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corinth will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something New Hope surely won't give up without a fight.
