Baseball Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Calhoun was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Central Irish. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Calhoun has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Gilmer County on the 27th. As for St. Joseph Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-6 win against Van on the 27th.
