Soccer Recap: Academy of Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Academy of Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles, falling 6-3. While losing is never fun, Academy of Notre Dame can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Mystic Valley Regional are ranked sixth).

Academy of Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mystic Valley Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, Academy of Notre Dame will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Minuteman Regional at 3:30 p.m. As for Mystic Valley Regional, they will face off against Greater Lowell Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
