Preview: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Waller Bulldogs
The Klein Cain Hurricanes will head out on the road to face off against the Waller Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Klein Cain is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Waller in Texas (Klein Cain is ranked 107th, while Waller is ranked 379th).
After a string of three wins, Klein Cain's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 42-33 to Klein Collins. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Despite the defeat, Klein Cain had strong showings from Issac Mooring, who threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns, and Blaine Bullard, who picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, Waller were a bit more limited in their game last Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 34-7 loss at the hands of Klein Oak.
The losses dropped Klein Cain to 5-3 and Waller to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for Klein Cain against Waller in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 52-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klein Cain since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
