Boise took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Owyhee, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Brave skirted past the Storm 3-2.

Katelyn Huck had an outrageously good game as she had 20 digs and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Boise was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matches.

When it comes to explaining why Owyhee lost on Thursday, don't look at Sophie Walker. Despite the final result, she had 28 digs and four aces.

Boise's record is now 21-14. As for Owyhee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-12.
