Buchanan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Campolindo Cougars 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Buchanan was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-23, 24-26, 25-18, 16-14.

Keira Nelson paced Buchanan's offense, picking up 25 kills. Nelson got some help from Penny Garcia and her 25 assists. Avery Dedekian controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 37-8. As for Campolindo, they dropped their record down to 27-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Buchanan will welcome James Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
