While Jasper's win against Mortimer Jordan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings skirted past the Blue Devils 4-3. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Lexi Kilgore was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Pittman, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Mortimer Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14-1.

Coming up, Jasper will head out to square off against Pleasant Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mortimer Jordan, they will be playing at home against Springville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
