It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Jones Longhorns had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past Davis with a 30-26 win. The win was nothing new for Jones as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Clayton Creasey was his usual excellent self, rushing for 206 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Creasey was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Isaiah Sawyer also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Jones has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 10-2 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.6 points per game. As for Davis, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3.

Jones will face off against Victory Christian at TBD on Friday. Victory Christian will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
