Diana Martinez put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in February on Friday. She wasn't messing around, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Martinez and San Diego will welcome Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
