Football Recap: Pineville Starts Season with Win on the Road

Pineville had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the New Iberia Yellowjackets by a score of 44-34. This was payback for the Rebels, who suffered a 34-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Pineville will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Avoyelles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Iberia, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Central Lafourche at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
