Basketball Game Preview: Prince of Peace Eagles vs. Legacy Christian Academy Eagles

Prince of Peace hasn't had much luck against Legacy Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Prince of Peace is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Parish Episcopal on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Prince of Peace lost 65-43 to Parish Episcopal.

Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy was beaten by Coram Deo Academy 52-22 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1152nd, while the Lions are ranked 260th).

Prince of Peace's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Prince of Peace took their win against Legacy Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 57-33. Will Prince of Peace repeat their success, or does Legacy Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
