Heyworth had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Fisher Bunnies with a sharp 67-45 win on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fisher's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cam Grant, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points. What's more, Grant also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ryan Hopkins, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Heyworth's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Fisher, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-17.

Heyworth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-52 win against Meridian on the 17th. As for Fisher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-44 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 18th.
