Volleyball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the St. Johns Redwings. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Redwings when the teams met back in October of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-5.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for St. Johns, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Everett will challenge Okemos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Johns, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Freeland on the 4th.
