Baseball Recap: Whitesboro Comes Up Short

Whitesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Callisburg Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Whitesboro has suffered since March 10th.

Whitesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Callisburg, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

While Whitesboro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
