Decavian Duncan leads a balanced attack to beat Red River

Recap: Winnfield Tigers vs. Red River Bulldogs

Even though the Red River Bulldogs scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Winnfield Tigers still came out on top. Winnfield had just enough and edged Red River out 61-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Winnfield also won the last time the pair played on January 9th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Winnfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Decavian Duncan, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Craig St Cyr, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Winnfield pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Red River, their loss dropped their record down to 15-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winnfield will face off against Many at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Many is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Red River, they will head out on the road to take on Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 452 points over their last seven games.
