Volleyball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

If Normandy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of John Hay on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Invaders came up short against the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Ali Cherry, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Perrysburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Normandy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perrysburg, they will take on Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
