Baseball Recap: Lakewood Ranch Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lakewood Ranch ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Fort Myers Wolfpack 4-3.

Lakewood Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for South Fort Myers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Lakewood Ranch will take on Middleton in a tournament on Wednesday. Middleton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.54 runs per game on average), something Lakewood Ranch will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Fort Myers, they will head out to challenge Cypress Lake at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
