Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian Academy was the 15-5 winner over Bishop Kenny when they last played one another back in April of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquerors took a 20-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders on Monday. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maggie Johns stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Anna Lamb also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.

Trinity Christian Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Bishop Kenny, their record is now 8-13.

Coming up, Trinity Christian Academy will host Bolles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Kenny, they are taking a road trip to face off against Menendez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
