Baseball Recap: Horizon Honors Triumphs

Horizon Honors never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the ALA - West Foothills Guardians.

Zach Hull was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

Hull wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Max Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Horizon Honors now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Horizon Honors didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-2 victory against Bourgade Catholic on the 27th. As for ALA - West Foothills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 27th.
