Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Takes a Loss

Providence Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Leslie County Eagles on the road by a 54-37 margin.

Providence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Leslie County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Providence Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-35 win against Wicksburg on the 30th. As for Leslie County, they will venture away from home to face off against Floyd Central at 3:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
