Basketball Recap: New Brockton Takes a Loss

New Brockton lost against Enterprise back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Brockton Gamecocks were outmatched by the Enterprise Wildcats and fell 74-35. The matchup marked the Gamecocks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Enterprise got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eric Winters out in front who went 8 for 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Williams, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and three blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for New Brockton and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Enterprise, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

New Brockton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-57 win against Graceville on the 9th. Enterprise has also already played their next matchup, a 67-28 victory against Carroll on the 9th.
