Basketball Game Preview: Concord Academy Eagles vs. Greensboro Day School Bengals

The Concord Academy Eagles will take on the Greensboro Day School Bengals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord Academy has given up an average of 55.3 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Concord Academy found their leader in sophomore Justice Alexander, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Alexander is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Taylor Smith, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Greensboro Day School strolled past Page with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 50-36. The Bengals haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Greensboro Day School's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Concord Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Concord Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Greensboro Day School in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory.
