Basketball Game Preview: San Juan Spartans vs. Highlands Scots

The San Juan Spartans will square off against the Highlands Scots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Juan has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight defeats, while Highlands will come in with three straight wins.

On Tuesday, San Juan lost to Golden Sierra at home by a 60-43 margin. The Spartans were down 51-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Highlands sidestepped Vacaville Christian for a 50-47 victory.

Highlands pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for San Juan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
